ABOUT ACCELERATE

Accelerate is a 3-day leadership intensive designed for leaders in the growing stages of their leadership, generally between the ages of 27 to 35 years old. We know that leadership brings a great sense of responsibility, and when you find yourself in the early stages of leadership, it can be a daunting task. The Accelerate Leadership Intensive provides three days of outstanding leadership principles as well as clarity on your leadership style and its impact on your organization. The capstone is an opportunity to complete an organizational-related project with the guidance of our consultants or develop a leadership plan to further your leadership acumen.

The Ideal Participant

The ideal candidates for Accelerate are leaders that are currently leading in an organization and are hungry to strengthen their leadership skills, execute at a higher level of leadership in a collaborative environment, and prepare for what’s next in their leadership. If you can answer “yes” to a few of these qualifications, this intensive is right for you:

  • Supervisory role

  • Control over a part of the organization

  • Carry authority within the organization

  • Oversee part of the budget

  • Can work on a project, dream, or issue for the organization

  • Relevant work/leadership experience

The Accelerate Core

Accelerate provides an opportunity for growing leaders to examine traits and practices of effective leadership, assess their strengths and leadership style, learn from leaders across professional fields, and increase their depth of understanding in emotional intelligence, culture, coaching others up, and change management.

This intensive will focus on four key leadership theories that will accelerate your personal leadership theory, and our consultants will work with you as you create a plan to execute a new program, navigate a challenge, or institute a leadership change in your organization. 

Each day will incorporate experienced leaders who will speak on a variety of learning methodologies, including:

  • Personal Leadership Development

  • Interactive Leadership Theory Seminars

  • Live Leader Interviews

  • Client Site Visit

  • Case Studies

  • Leadership Reflection & Coaching

  • Leader 360/Peer Review

While we do not offer overnight lodging, we are happy to help you find other accommodations.

Tuesday, June 25 – Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Cost

$1,200 (lunch included). The actual cost of this program is $2,200, but thanks to donors passionate about empowering the next generation of leaders, we are able to offer it at a reduced price!

Upon acceptance, a non-refundable deposit of $300 will be due to hold your place. The final payment of $900 will be due by June 10. If cost is an issue, please contact us or consider talking to your employer about an employee reimbursement.

FAQ

  • The purpose of Accelerate is to provide leaders who are in the first half of their careers with the opportunity to accelerate their leadership acumen, develop their leadership style, and deepen their personal understanding. The conclusion of each day will include each participant working on a capstone project for their organization.

  • The morning is designed to provide detailed learning around critical leadership aspects including ethics in leadership, managing others, strategic thinking and planning, and organizational culture and change. We will also invest in strengthening your personal leadership through the TTI personality assessment and report.

  • We would like for each participant to come to Accelerate with a project that is specific to their organization. We will have several consultants available each day to work with you on the project you hope to leverage within your organization. If you do not have a project, we will provide case studies for you to practice in preparation for your future leadership impact.

  • The target age group for Accelerate is generally 27-35 years old. If you fall just outside of this age range, please contact Billy Dunn at bdunn@centerconsulting.org to see if you may still be eligible for Accelerate.

  • The Center Consulting Group is located in Dublin, PA, and is just 15 minutes from Doylestown, Lansdale, and Quakertown, PA.

  • Business casual.

  • Accelerate is led by senior consultant, Billy Dunn. Billy brings over 25 years of leadership in nonprofit and church organizations. Other consultants from The Center Consulting Group will be speaking each day and offering personalized assistance to the Accelerate participants.
