Synergy in Church Leadership
May 7 | Dublin, PA
Synergy in Church Leadership Workshop
How boards, pastors, and staff can increase impact and decrease conflict among themselves.
Date: Thursday, May 7, 2026
Time: 10:00am – 11:30am
Location: The Leadership Studio, 123. N. Main Street, Suite 202, Dublin, PA (at The Center Consulting Group Office)
Free | Invite-Only | Limited to 20 Attendees
About the Workshop
Have you noticed how tension and conflict have recently grown in our towns, schools, businesses, and government? And churches are far from immune to conflict. This is especially true of church leaders. Lead pastors and boards can experience years of healthy collaboration only to end up in painful, debilitating, and costly conflict. The same is true of senior pastors and their relationship with their executive pastors, and pastors with their staff.
This workshop will help you reframe how you think about conflict, recognize the hidden ways ministry teams unintentionally compete instead of collaborate, and equip you with practical tools to prevent tension from becoming toxic and destructive. The workshop will also provide real-life examples related to both synergy and conflict.
Attendance is free, but because of the intimate nature of this workshop, seating is limited to 20 leaders who have been personally invited due to their investment in the long-term health of their church ministry. We also encourage attendees to invite a guest, especially a board chair, another board representative, or a pastor, even one from a different church.
Sessions
Session 1: Reframing Conflict
Meghan Hunter Harrison, Esq.
Conflict is a normal part of ministry, but unresolved tension can quietly erode trust and unity. In this session, we will explore common conflict styles and discuss practical skills to prevent conflict and navigate it wisely when it arises.
Session 2: Breaking Down Silos in Ministry
Billy Dunn, M.S.
Healthy churches are collaborative churches, yet even well-intentioned ministry teams can unintentionally drift into competition without realizing it. In this session, we will look at how silos form between departments and ministries and what leaders can do to build a culture of genuine collaboration.
