Church Health Assessment

Strengthening the Church from the Inside Out

Churches are complex communities. To provide an objective assessment of your church’s health, we use a process that combines reviewing your most important documents, demographics, custom-designed surveys, and confidential interviews. Based on these insights, we deliver our findings which include commendations, potential risks, and actionable recommendations to help your church advance its health, effectiveness, and impact.

Document Review

We take a close look at the documents that shape your church’s identity and operations, including bylaws, financial statements, attendance trends, organizational structure, and core documents such as your mission, vision, and values.

Custom Designed Survey

A web-based survey gathers data from your congregation on ministry health, leadership credibility, readiness for change, vision alignment, and key strengths and concerns with the option to add questions identified by your leadership.

Confidential Interviews

We conduct up to 25 confidential phone interviews with staff, board members, and key influencers. No names are attached to findings, only themes, to ensure transparent feedback on leadership, ministry health, conflict, and overall church direction.

Community Demographic Profile

We gather extensive demographic data on the surrounding area to help you better understand the community your church is called to serve.

Comprehensive Executive Report and Presentation of Recommendations

All findings are compiled into a comprehensive executive report and presented onsite in a 2–2.5 hour meeting with church leadership covering gaps, opportunities, commendations, and recommendations for moving forward.
